In July, the number of new and used tractors licensed in Ireland dropped compared to the same period in 2023.
According to the Central Statistics Office (CSO), only 203 new tractors were registered – a 16% decrease from the 242 in July 2023. For used (imported) tractors, 229 were registered, a 12% drop from last year’s 259.
From January to July 2024, a total of 1,552 new tractors and 1,584 used tractors were registered; these figures are both lower than the same period in 2023.
