Get ready for the biggest two-day sheep sale in Connemara this weekend! The Connemara Mayo Blackface Breeders Group (CMBBG) will host a massive sale at Maam Cross Mart, featuring nearly 3,000 breeding blackface ewes on Saturday, October 5, and 570 rams on Sunday, October 6.
Known for their toughness and quality, these ewes and rams are from Connemara, Mayo and Sligo. Saturday’s sale kicks off at 11:00 a.m. sharp, while Sunday’s ram sale, the largest in Ireland for a single breed, starts at 9:00 a.m.
